Waterloo Road

Denzil Kelly stars in the tv drama Waterloo Road as a year 13 pupil with a troubled past. In series 5,he was diagnosed with dyslexia, he has a small build and is a good looking lad. Denzil is represented as a young teenage boy, interested in girls and getting into trouble with his mates from time to time. He has been in the series since year 7, and the audience, usually being teenagers have seen him grow and sympathised with the charactor throughout the programme.
Episode 13 in series 7 shows him stealing a guitar from his teacher for his good friend Scout. He comes accross as a cheeky chap that is prepared to take risks however he seems to know the consequences and this doesnt always stop his bad behaviour.
Later in the programme we see him frantically trying to get hold of Emily as she has dissaperared and no one can get in contact with her. We see Denzils softer caring side which identifies his good charactor despite his troubled life. He runs out of school from receiving a text message from Emily and alarms Scout in hope for them to find Emily.
Denzil gets along with most charactors in the programme, he has good relationships with Emily and Scout and seems a trustworthy caring friend with a good personality and sense of humour. He looks smart for school and behind behind the light is a good guy trying to get on with life.
