Gender

How males and women are represented in the media.

Men - Traditinal (Taller, stronger, dominant, plumer etc.) New Man (Housework, cares for his kids, equal to women) Gay Man ( feminine, weak and hairdressing).
Lazy, Fat, Butch, old, rude, shirt and tie, hoodie and jeans, arrogant, breadwinner, alfa male, typical male, brave, sporty, father figure and DIY.

Female- often seen as traditional (Cooking, cleaning, typical jobs) or sexy ( more powerful and able to get what they want) or lesbians (Masculine male roles short and fat) .
House wife, less paid jobs, objects, nurse, percieved as numb, blondes, dont know what their doing, pretty, feminin, caring, motherly figure, career women, pink, purples and pastels, scared, vulnerable.
