Eastenders
Old people are often represented as frail weak and often seen as confused. They are seen wearing dull beige clothes often pratical and come accross as grumpy and boring. However in Eastenders the charactor Peggy is represented as a 'hip' young lady with style and confidence, she is a well respected lady and is the pub Land Lady of the Queen Victoria Pub. In this clip she is seen reading a letter from her partner Frank Butcher who is in love with Patt. Peggy wears bright clothes and looks after herself and always looks classy. She thinks very high of herself and would stick up for herself and her family through anything.
