The media represents the elderly in many ways, for example, in the tv drama "heros" stars Robert Forster who plays Arthur who is a 67 year old powerful super villian who worked with others to do things he thought would save the world,but also in the series are other charactors that are considered old which appear to be more vulnerable this is often how the media portrays the elderly, as weak and frail.
Where as the media represents teenagers to be out of control, and not care about anything but themselves. They are normally seen in the media excessively drinking and smoking and often taking drugs. The media portrays a bad image of young teens and is narrow minded. However the media can often portray them as "geeks".
